Useful rings: effects and sources
Regeneration heals on a kill, not continuously. Aggression boosts Strength; Brawn favors lighter carried weight. Eternal Bond assists affinity rather than combat damage. Two ring slots let you choose according to the task.
Selected rings and acquisition
| Ring | Effect in the cited item guide | Documented source |
|---|---|---|
| Regeneration | Restores 50 HP when the wearer defeats a foe; not passive regeneration. | Philbert's Sundries in Vernworth or Morris's Apothecary in Checkpoint Rest Town. |
| Aggression | Adds 30 Strength in the published item table. | Dudley, initially in Melve. |
| Brawn | Strength benefit increases as carried weight decreases. | Beren affinity reward or a chest in Sandspire Den, southern Battahl. |
| Eternal Bond | Improves affinity gains when worn; gifting it deepens the recipient relationship. | Sphinx's Riddle of Futility or 120 Seeker's Tokens at a Vocation Guild. |
| Ambition | Increases experience from defeating foes. | Sphinx's Riddle of Contest. |
| Derision | Severely weakens attacks; remove it after the duel. | Equipped during the Sphinx's Riddle of Contest. |
This is a selected guide, not all rings. Numeric effects are community-guide values, not a measured TU4.0 stat table. Capcom changed some equipment stats and loot in June 2026.
Choose for the encounter
Aggression is relevant to physical offense, while Brawn rewards deliberately managing inventory weight. Regeneration helps when enemies are being killed; it cannot replace healing during a long climb on a living boss.
Eternal Bond is not a damage ring or a marriage unlock. During the Sphinx duel, throwing the opponent off the ledge avoids the Derision damage penalty. Recheck both equipped rings afterward so the penalty does not follow you into later fights.
Questions
Does Regeneration heal while standing still?
No. Its effect triggers when the wearer defeats a foe.
Where is Eternal Bond?
Solve the Sphinx's Riddle of Futility or turn in 120 Seeker's Tokens at a Vocation Guild.
