About the game
Dragon's Dogma 2 is CAPCOM's single-player action RPG, first released in March 2024. Its pawn system combines an AI-controlled party with asynchronous sharing of other players' pawns; it is not official live co-op.
Release
CAPCOM's product page gives March 22, 2024 for the original release; Steam's US listing displays March 21, 2024. These are channel-specific date displays, not evidence of two different base games. The original platforms are Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The 2026 Dark Arisen expansion is Steam app 2593290 and requires the base game. The complete edition also brings the game to Nintendo Switch 2, whose US product page gives October 9, 2026. Do not confuse that package with the older Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.
