The Nameless Village
The useful evidence is below the village, not just in the manor. Complete the hidden platforming course, speak to Srail, and return Darragh's Bill of Arrest to Brant.
Trigger and route to the evidence
- Complete an early Brant objective after Seat of the Sovran, then ask him about the false Sovran at the Stardrop Inn at night. Finish the investigation before Feast of Deception.
- Travel east from Vernworth toward the Nameless Village. The main approach is blocked by rubble; take the southern detour through the Eastern Forest.
- Investigate the houses for the Folded Letter, then speak to Flaude in the Old Noble Manor at the top of the village. Exhaust his relevant dialogue.
- Find the ladder into the Nameless Village Depths northwest of the manor. Cross the tilting platforms and avoid the swinging obstacles; use the lower path to retry a missed jump.
- At the end, question Srail about the false Sovran and obtain Darragh's Bill of Arrest. Speak again for the Pilferer's Handbook; Flaude provides Legend's Opus.
- Return to Brant at night, ask about the false Sovran, and hand over the bill.
Outcome and skill books
Srail's evidence exposes the false Sovran's identity. Legend's Opus teaches Blades of the Pyre and Pilferer's Handbook teaches Formless Feint to a Thief. Visiting only the manor misses the underground evidence route.
Older guides list 1,200 XP, 7,500 G, and Dragon's Gaze for the quest. These are historical rewards: Capcom changed some payouts and loot on June 10, 2026. The Caged Magistrate is another Brant assignment, not an obligatory linear step simply because it precedes this page in a walkthrough.
