Mystic Spearhand: Sigurd unlock and duospear build
Speak to Sigurd about his fighting style to unlock Mystic Spearhand. This Arisen-only duospear vocation combines melee, binding bolts and a party barrier; pawns cannot select it.
Where to unlock Mystic Spearhand
Progress Brant's early Vernworth quests, then return to Melve for Readvent of Calamity. Help repel the dragon and speak to Sigurd, the hooded duospear fighter, afterward. Ask his name and about his fighting style.
If Sigurd is no longer in Melve, look at the Coastal Hut in Harve Village after its restoration. Speaking to him can still unlock the vocation. Then visit a vocation guild to select it and equip a duospear; meeting him does not automatically change your class.
How to learn Wild Furie
Sigurd also teaches the maister skill. Defeat the lesser dragon associated with his hunt, normally at Dragonsbreath Tower in southwest Battahl, and speak with him afterward for Paladin's Enigmata. If the dragon was already killed in Melve, speak to him there or at his later location instead.
Use the scroll to learn Wild Furie. Additional inputs extend its attack at a stamina cost. The vocation unlock and maister reward are distinct steps; you do not need the expansion ending for either.

Mirour Shelde is not a Fighter skill
Mirour Shelde upgrades Mystic Spearhand's Mirour Vesture. Capcom revised the barrier on September 2, 2026: an uncharged cast protects the Arisen, while a charged cast also reaches the party. It has durability, so it can break before its duration expires. Stamina cost rose and natural recovery slows while it is active.
Treat the barrier as timed protection, not an indefinite immunity loop. Use charged Forbeding Bolt to restrain an enemy, Scatering Bolt for nearby targets, and Quik Fot to close in. Reserve stamina to refresh protection or escape.
Endurance, Exaltation and Constancy are practical augment options; choose upgrades that support the mixed physical and magickal weapon. Bring a Mage for recovery and ranged coverage from another pawn. The October 16, 2026 hotfix fixed a Mirour Vesture interaction between the Arisen and Sigurd, not a Fighter shield ability.
