REFramework

REFramework is praydog's third-party framework for RE Engine games, including Dragon's Dogma 2. The normal non-VR installation adds dinput8.dll beside the game's executable. Back up saves and test the framework alone before adding scripts.

Install the non-VR framework

Remove it

Close the game. Move the dinput8.dll you installed out of the game folder to disable the loader. Preserve the reframework folder elsewhere before removing it, since it may contain scripts, plugin data and mod-created saves. Remove the Proton launch override if it was added solely for this framework, then test a normal launch.

Do not delete unrelated DLLs or assume Steam verification removes extra mod files. DD2gether has its own launcher switch and saves; follow that author's removal flow instead of deleting its data folder.

What it is used for here

The author lists free camera, field-of-view tools, a Lua scripting API and native plugins. These are mod features, not official CAPCOM graphics settings. The README's general VR support is not a claim that every DD2 VR configuration is tested.

Questions

How do I remove REFramework?

Close the game and move the installed dinput8.dll out first. Preserve reframework data before removing anything else; some mods store data or saves there.

Does Capcom include this?

No. It is a third-party framework. The official graphics options are on the performance page.
