Dragon's Dogma 2 on Switch 2
Nintendo's US listing offers Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen for Switch 2 at $49.99, released 9 October 2026. It includes the game and expansion; it is not an upgrade for the original Nintendo Switch.
The product on the US eShop
Nintendo lists a Standard Edition, CAPCOM as publisher, an ESRB Mature rating, and TV, tabletop and handheld play. The product is single-player. Save Data Cloud support requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership; that does not add a co-op mode.
The store's BEE software record lists 53,247,737,856 bytes, approximately 53.25 GB in decimal units, with an estimated size field of 57,999,884,288 bytes, approximately 58 GB. These are software-size fields, not a guarantee of the download size after future updates. Check the console's current free-space requirement before buying.
Frame rate
The Nintendo product record does not specify a guaranteed frame rate. Treat frame-rate claims from reviews as measurements of that review's build and scene, not a platform-wide floor. Generated display frames are also not the same measurement as native rendered frames.
Before choosing a version, compare footage from both handheld and docked play, especially busy settlements and combat. This page does not claim a tested frame-time result, a mandatory frame-generation setting, or a verified physical game-key-card SKU.
Questions
