Griffin: nests, preparation, and combat
Check the Forested Griffin's Nest southwest of the Misty Marshes or the Wasteland Griffin's Nest in Battahl. Bring fire, healing, and ranged pressure; a roaming griffin can fly away before you finish it.

Ground it and finish the fight
- Bring fire spells or a fire weapon boon, a healing pawn, and a way to pressure the griffin at range.
- Apply fire while it is grounded, then attack the head during openings. Avoid the front claws, diving approaches, and wing-driven knockbacks.
- If climbing, recover stamina before takeoff. Holding on can carry you away and create a lethal fall; do not mount without a stamina reserve.
- Collect any dropped materials after the kill. Do not confuse a successful escape on its back with completing a farming kill.
What level should you be?
There is no mandatory level gate. As editorial preparation advice, attempt a dedicated hunt once you have upgraded gear, a full party, fire damage, and reliable healing. If you cannot survive a dive or make meaningful progress, improve equipment and return; a precise level alone cannot guarantee success.
